1. Smooth bus trip from Shah Alam to Merang, alhamdulillah. Would have been better if Humaidi behaved well rather than kept pacing to and fro front and back of the bus
2. Not-so-smooth sailing from Merang to Redang. I remember from my first trip to Redang that the boat ride took only about 45 minutes. This time around it was 1 hour and 10 minutes. And it was a really bumpy ride, what with the waves going as high as 3 - 4.5metres, causing (lots of fear and) probably 80% of the passengers to vomit...
3. The welcome talk was given in a cacamerba Bahasa Melayu and could be done without - the presentation slides were self-explanatory.
4. The welcome drinks was heavenly - after all the nausea and post-vomit aftertaste in the mouth, the calamansi-asam boi concoction was really soothing. It was so good that I asked for a second helping and the bartender actually got me another one (I thought of taking another glass by myself - but oooh, it was good to be served, hehehe)
5. The snorkeling trip to the open sea on Day 1 was cancelled due to bad weather. No sunny day on the seaside that day, but no one is complaining. After the all-night-long bus ride and the headache/nausea/vomit inducing boat ride - hubby and I actually welcomed the chance to hit the sack in peace...
